With the millions of blog posts being posted every day, every minute, there is so much out there that is available for you to read. From movie reviews, to write ups of local restaurants, to instructions on how to install a new program onto your computer, the world wide web has it all.
The Speedy Blogosphere
The reason blogging is so popular is because it is a simple, quick and effective way to get your point across to your audience. Blog posts can be anywhere from 200 to 500 words. Some are even shorter than that, while others can carry on for pages and pages. Although many of these posts have important information included, it is important to keep in mind that everyone is busy and may not have all the time in the world that it takes to read your entire post.
Less is More
If you can get your point across in 250 words or less, great! That is the word range that most blog posts aim to achieve, as well as the range that most readers are looking for to read. Bullet points are a great way to talk about main ideas. Listing is also another technique that many bloggers use to quickly discuss important points.

Time is Precious
The importance of a good blog title also plays a key role here. As I discussed in previous posts, if you can catch the attention of your reader in a title, they will be drawn in and hooked to read the rest of the post. This pattern will have your readers coming back for more, since they know they can get a quality article by spending just a few minutes of their time.
As we all know, time is precious. So keep that in mind when blogging, and keep your readers coming back for more!
