In the previous post, I gave you some key questions to help you determine just how your blog posts are affecting your readers. Are they hitting the right targets? Are they getting the end result you had planned for? Are they even getting any result at all? Take a look at these questions below, ask them and take action to improve your blog posts!

Improving Your Blog Posts: What Can They Do For Me and You?

How will this help me/my business?

Of course your readers should always be in your mind as you write and post your blog posts, after all, they are who is coming back each time to see what you have to say. But, it is also important to keep in mind the results these posts have on you and your business. One of the easiest and most efficient ways to do so is with a call to action button at the end of your posts. Offering a free ebook or asking readers to sign up for a newsletter not only helps them stay in touch with you, but keeps you and your blog relevant and easy to share with other readers. By having these offers tie into the topic you are talking about, you can easily stay current.

How do I look?

You may be blogging in your pajamas, but there is no reason why your blog should reflect that! Make use of the different formatting styles. Highlight key words with bold or make bullet points to address major points. Having a blog post that is easy to read may be the determination between having someone read it or not. Those few minutes of extra work ca be worth it in the end.

Can I have your attention, please?

As with most posts I have written about, it is always a key point to remember to grab readers’ attention! Through creative titles and subheadings, do whatever you can to please the readers!

Take these questions into account the next time you are blogging. Do you have any more that you like to keep in mind? Share with us!
