Along with all of the many things you want to bring to your potential customers, you ideally want them to convert. To do this, you usually only have a short period of time, or one click of a page, to do so. It doesn’t matter how they get to your page. The leads may come from anywhere, and that’s great. The factor you need to keep in mind is keeping them here! Check out these tips to help convert those leads into customers!

Selling With Your Site - Part 1

Keep These In Mind

There are a few things to take note of. These are things that will usually turn off a potential customer. If you immediately display pricing on your page, it isn’t always the best way to go. Pricing or fees should appear last. This is because you want to show the visitor why they should work with you and why you are worth it first. These benefits should always be available for everyone to see, so they should always be displayed. Also, an easy call to action button should always be available so they know when and how to reach you.

Tell a Story

Many sites will start off with a story of who they are, how they came about and what they do. Others will choose to just tell you a great and compelling story. Either way, this is a great way to reel in potential customers. Describing their “ideal customer” is another way to explain who they like to work with (you) and what makes that relationship so great. Once they believe these words, there is a good chance they will move forward with the sale.

What’s Your Secret Power?

What does your business have that no other one does? What do you excel at? This should be the main focus in what you are telling potential customers. If you list too many options, you will only confuse people. Focusing on your unique selling position, or your USP, will allow your ideal customers to connect with you and vice versa. Find out what they want the most and use that to sell.

Sharing is Caring

Of course, you want people to hire you before you share the ins and outs of what you can do for them. But, offering them some advice or insight can help you attract them. Showing them that you are confident in your own work will help them feel confident in you and your company. You can offer free newsletters or courses. Sharing your expertise with them can help them make the decision to go with you. Your quality information can help them make better decisions with the help of your company.
